I think I have seen it. Not sure if it was Miandad and Salim Malik, again not sure who were the runners.

No idea - but about 6 years ago, I had to act as runner for 1 of our batsman. (I was the only wkt to fall) - I lasted about 2 overs before retiring as runner!

Well embarrasing!

Enough about my 'Inzi-esque' running prowess.

Has this ever ocurred. My bet is that it has, and that Pak were the team involved

It has happened once seriously. It was after the 2003 WC when Australia toured West Indies. It was the first test match in the WI 2nd innings when Both Ridley Jacobs and Shivarine Chanderpaul got injured during the match. So they were both at the crease and they both needed runners. I guess this was the only time it happened.

Gold Medal to Savak!

Chanderpaul and Ridley Jacobs both needed runners because they were injured in the first innings.

It was reckoned to be the first time in Test history that four batsmen had been on the field of play at one time.

Although believe me - one day, Pak will create history when they also have 2 runners on the pitch - and 1 gets run out!
