Akmal should open ODI's
I think Akmal should open from now on. He has shown that he can stick around and bat.
This role should be given to him throughtout this series. If his wicketkeeping suffers than a re-think will be required. From what I have seen of him, he shown the temprement to provide a base for Pakistan to build an innings on. |

Keep for 50 ovs then open batting
Keep for 130 ovs then open batting We will have an already sub-par wicketkeeper reaching the lowest ebb of his wicketkeeping life if he opens in ODIs as well. |

Only for ODI's. Not for tests.
Intelligence must be applied. If Pak bat 1st he can bat. If they bat 2nd (and have had a hard time in the field), then he can come in later. |

Disagree. YK should be dropped and Nazir (unlucky today), should stop trying to hit everything.

There is this guy named Y Hameed sitting on the bench- he carries an average of 38 in the ODIs and also happens to be an opener. Why not try him?
