I don't think you can change the dimensions of your pitch, once the season is under way, it is against the rules.

Man City narrowed the width off the pitch after moving to the new stadium, and having difficulty with opposition wingers.

GA - dont worry - barca are still finding their feet after the winter break - showed what they could do against seville 0-0 at half time barca 4-0 seville after 65 mins!!!!! that was amazing after getting dominated.
