PPs Football World XI - Goalkeeper ? Its Buffon

As suggested by WIY, we'll run a series of polls to select the PakPassion World XI for Football.

Starting with goalkeepers.

If I've missed someone whom you think deserves to be an option in the poll, then please add their name in this thread and I'll add them to the poll.

I CANNOT BELIEVE PPL QUESTION BUFFON - guy is undoubted class - still no 1 for me - we will see if cech can maintain for a few years like buffon has.

Cech has had one good season, goalkeepers sometimes have one flukey season then do rubbish after that like look at tim howard. Like WIY said buffon has been performing at the highest level for years now.

i just cant believe it - this is buffon we are talking about. The guy is unquestionably the no1 - probs followed by casillas - am shocked he has no votes so far!

buffon is the protype keeper - strong in all key aspects - agility, judgement etc

this is a no brainer!!!!

Buffon by a mile.

Iker is just a lucky keeper - everytime he parries it his defence clear.

hitman why would u say cech is superior to buffon? granted cech had ONE superb season but buffon has done it at every level for a number of years and IMO is second to dino zoff as the greatest keeper of last two decades - and yes above schmeichel
