After the 92 WC win , pakistani cricket was given a new life , something to be proud of and to look for confidence but in the past years our cricket has gone through a lot of disastrous sagas from which a good future seemed nearly impossible.Well every team has gone through ups and downs and it seems pakistani cricket has been sent down enough and its time for a big huge upward thrust towards success and greatness.Many young children look to Imran khan as a role model and his cornered tigers and how he lead the team to their first WC win.After the 99 WC our cricket was indeed damaged but that wasn't enough to stop us , we were still a fighting force that gave any team chills.Surely if our team didnt have players like Wasim,Waqar,Anwar,Inzi,moin,saqlain,mushi and many other greats at that time than a massive decline could have erupted similar to the West Indies.But we somehow kept our fighting spirit intact but alas that same fighting spirit had vansihed after the 07 WC and to make things worse we lost the first T20 WC Final , After that we all know how much Indian Cricket prospered.Now is our time to Rise.
This Win will be a motivation and something to look to for current and future cricketers,hopefully now we can produce more greats like we used to before and start winning against top teams.
The lost Passion and spirit is once again flowing from our hearts as it must have been after the 92 win and now we have new faces to nurture to ensure the future of our cricket
