Help needed for avatar

I have tried lacs times to upload picture but i cannot.
The requirement is 146kb and I am uploading 51 kb pic.
And when I edit A pic to 100by 80 pixel it becomes so small that you cant even recongnize the man in the image.
Tell me if this pic is ok?
