Who apart from Australia are actually any good

India - over hyped , failed in the last couple of ICC tournaments as well as losing ODI series in India to Aus
South Africa - love losing big matches in tournaments from the jaws of victory
New Zealand - make it to lots of semi finals but rarely win anything
Pakistan - Erratic
England - Win the ashes and don't do a lot else
Sri Lanka - produce lots of entertaining cricketers , but have lost the lost a couple of ICC finals
West Indies - have enough trouble just getting players on the pitch
Bangladesh - Huge cricket watching population, had test status for a few years, but lose to affiliate teams often

My point is ... no team in the last few years has actually been that consistent apart from Aus. They have lost a few series lately , but there record is still good.

Pakistan are an erratic team and losing matches and series like yesterday is disappointing. But making the finals of the last 2 T20 world cups , winning one and getting to semis of the champions trophy are a lot more memorable than a series in the UAE , which truth be told will be forgotten very soon.

Our test record is important though. Winning big Test series are memorable and are a real achievement.
