Actually, there's an easier explanation. WI pitches are now a lot like Indian ones. They spin more than they seam. England is more conducive to swing. India struggles against swing!

Then how did India draw in SA? Were the pitches like Inida too? Let us admit this, Indian seniors who are usually good at playing swing and bounce are no longer near their peaks and it is time to send them off. That may not change anything immediately but testing out the youngsters is a better option.

England does have a very deep batting line up. So many hitters down the order.

P.S:- I wish WI had atleast one bowler of the caliber of Holding/Walsh/Ambrose in this line up

Another wicket needed. Don't fancy Bell to do much in a pressure situation, and then it's Bairstow on debut.

West Indies in with a big chance now.

Will the 'Bell Ring' this time?? Or will he bottle it again?

Will the victory be 'Cooked' by Aliaster?

It all depends on the appROACH by the WI.

34 on a very flat pitch against what has been some pretty average bowling is nothing to write home about.
Far more impressive has been cook who weathered the storm yesterday, as well as staying solid when the wickets fell today. His presence at the crease has held the England innings together, and from the looks of it frustrated the Windies bowlers into bowling a lot of dross. Have to say from the looks of it though they are very easily frustrated...

He's fine as long as he has a hardcase such as Cook at the other end to keep him in the Zone.

If it came to Bell and the bowlers with fifty runs to get, he might start overthinking and get out.

He never will.

He is a top player of average bowlers and an average player of top bowlers.
