9 Changes in the ODIs? Cant Wait!

Almost an entire team can be made of the the batch that will replace the T20 "specialists" in action right now.

Flying in:

Farhat
Azhar
Asad
YK
Misbah
Sarfraz
Cheema
Rahat Ali
Rehman

Flying out:

Ahmed Shehzad
Khalid Latif
Malik
Haris Sohail
Shakeel
Hammad (should've stayed)
Arafat
Kukri Tanvir
Raza Hassan

As you can see, suddenly the batting order looks more dependable.

I reckon the first team could beat the later in any format. (despite Farhat)

Ahmed Shehzad might be asked to stay since Nasir Jamshed is injured.

So the ODI XI could be:

Hafeez
Ahmed Shehzad
YK
Misbah
Umar Akmal
Afridi
Sarfraz
Gul
Rahat Ali
Cheema
Ajmal

Very good observation dude... this XI looks alot better paper wise
  1. Mohammed Hafeez
  2. Ahmed Shehzad
  3. Younis Khan
  4. Umar Akmal
  5. Misbah ul Haq
  6. Shahid Afridi
  7. Sarfraz Ahmed
  8. Umar Gul
  9. Rahat Ali
  10. Aizaz Cheema
  11. Saeed Ajmal

However this is not the best ODI XI...

Younis Khan should hang up his boots for a more promising Asad Shafique, much better option...

Shahid Afridi cannot be counted as reliable neither is Umar Akmal that chops batting down to 5...

This is where Hammad comes handy to hold a proper batting spot and bowl 5+ overs, so we can let go of 1 of the three seamers

So we bat until 5, basically? What an awful line up. But it's not your fault, the squad is awful. Yet somehow we'll still win because we can string together amazing performances sometimes. And it deludes the selectors. Quite a pessimistic time right now.

Also Cheema is awful. Rahat is untested. And Gul misfires like a bucket of bullets.

Well, like it or not, Younis and Misbah are still the dependable rocks we need in the longer formats, and one of them could be even useful in the t20 side instead of just packing the line up with brainless sloggers

I don't understand why Razzaq is not in this team. Anyone remember his entrance into the t20 world cup in England? The team was misfiring and desperately needed experience and as cool as anything, Razzaq came in and did a fantastic job. We don't need three pavers in the team.

Also, WHY IS THE TEAM STRUCTURE SO ILLOGICAL???? Umer Akmal at 6 in a t20? You have got to be kidding me! It's not like we have Bradman before him either - we have actual tailenders with Shakeel and Malik. So why send the one guy who can bat behind tailenders? Sometimes you feel so frustrated at Pakistan.

Malik won us a t20 match against England...

Playing Malik under proven losers ( ) wont help anyone...

bring in real leader/fighter and you will see the difference

Idk if you know me, but I've been a long time fan of Malik. I still support him, but what do you have to say about his performance today?

It was god-awful.

How could you leave Harris Sohail out of the ODI squad? He is the best young bat we have in domestic cricket. He is a proper bat and not should be ruined like Umar Amin. We have a tendency to give more chances to sloggers like Latif and discard proper batsmen.

The batting line-up looks too thin with Afridi at #6. Knowing Misbah, he will play the extra batsman in Shafiq.

Mohammed Hafeez
Ahmed Shehzad
Asad Shafiq
Younis Khan
Misbah ul Haq
Umar Akmal
Shahid Afridi
Sarfraz Ahmed
Umar Gul

Malik doesn't hold a candle to either of Misbah, Afridi or Hafeez these days. Malik was a failure when captain as well and Misbah along with Afridi bailed him out on a number of occasions.

No he's not.

Why dont you check the squad before posting at the expense of looking like an idiot?
