PPCL International Series - Pak Captaincy Voting

Pakistan vs Rest of the World will commence after the end of the current series with both sides fighting it our in all 3 formats of the game.

But the question is, who is going to lead Pakistan and try and bring glory to the national side?

The captains have stated reasons as to why they should be captains, which you can see from posts #2 to #7 below.

I'd like to apply for Pakistan's captaincy.

Would do anything for team Pakistan. Am a good leader, and have a big heart. I would even be ready to replace myself for the team, as team comes first for me. I make sure we put up a big fight in each game and try our best to win. NOT part of any of that fixing stuff, always play clean cricket.

Back each player through their ups and downs, and I think I'm the perfect guy to lead Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad!

I would do anything for the team and can say that i am a good leader with great tactial knowlegde. I will not stand back and wait for the decisions to be taken on the field, But take them.

Why should I be captain?

I will

Always have a positive, up-beat attitude
always show my teammates that I believe in them and the whole team

I will help my teammates improve.

I will never get down on someone who makes a mistake, I will show them what they did wrong and show them the right way of doing it and tell them "its ok you'll get them next time"

I will never let my team down because of extra cash.

I will always be honest and always play a match to WIN

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for the Pakistan's captaincy.

Well for starters, my name in Arabic, means 'leader'

I have the ability to improvise, to think on my feet, I never crumble under pressure, as a matter of fact, I thrive under challenges. I'm an avid fan of team building, I vow to always listen to and implement suggestions made by teammates, to treat all as equals with the most important value that exists 'respect'

I understand that every player has a different temperament, a different role, a different understanding of the game and I truly believe I can help my boys grow with what comes naturally to them and become a force to be reckoned with.

I am willing to lead the Pakistan team as a proud Pakistani who is a true cricket fan, here are some of the reasons.

- I want to win, and only win, losses will not be tolerated. Any losses will be handled carefully and I will not shout at anyone, I will plan and discuss every player before each match.

- I will be online most of the time here on PP and will give my full commitment to all matches.

- I will not play alone, but as a team. Team work is the key to success and without it you cannot win matches.

- I guarantee every player in the squad will get a chance at some point.

- I will give my 100% at all times, but I am naturally a funny guy and will crack some jokes.

- I don't care about the money, I care about the team's performance and mine and I am always thinking on how to improve.

I am very proud as a Lightning Hawk skipper right now.

Watsupdoc and SD proving to be fine leaders themselves. Throw in Canistani Hero's youthful exuberance and you start to see the great leadership group we have. I am sure it'll be on show in this ROW v Pakistan match up.
