The NEW PP Member Interviews thread

Good day to you!

As you may or may not know, over the years we have accumulated a large archive of interviews with members from our very own PakPassion community.

What we do in a member interview - after first agreeing on the process with said user through PM - is open a public thread, where everyone can propose their own questions(s) to this user. We then conflate the questions into an interview, which I will conduct with the user. Finally the interview is formatted, published on the forums and archived on our servers. There will also be a permanent backup copy available if you want to keep yours.

The member interview has always been one of the more pleasant sideshows on PP, and is a great way for our users to get to know each other better. It's about as pain-free a process as one can experience, and speaking as somebody who has been on the mic before, it's actually quite enjoyable to talk about yourself and hear from other users.

But unfortunately we are all very busy, staff and users, so member interviews grow more infrequent from time to time. This is the thread that aims to get the member interviews back on track. Remember that anyone can apply to be interviewed by me. Users, mods, staff, anyone. Either PM me or put your name forward in this thread.

I would also encourage you to put the names of other interesting characters forward, by the same means - it is of course up to said individual whether they want to then go ahead, but I will sort all of this out.

In the meantime, get applying my friends! I hope to amass not so much a bit of interest in this but a waiting list. This will be ordered on a first-come-first-serve basis. That's how it used to be and we can do it again.

Interviews will commence mid-May when I've finished my finals. Gives us a generous length of time to run the application process.

Hmmm, I was actually going to start something similar on this forum, but this is also a good idea.

I'll put myself forward for this. I'm still new to this forum, but am running the PPCL down in the PP Leagues section of this forum. There's lots about me that people don't know and I wouldn't mind letting people into my life on this forum.
