Just an observation.
When Pakistan lost the 1996 World Cup Quarter Final to India, Muhammad Siddique, that self-styled cricket expert of Nawa-i-Waqt criticised that Javed Miandad should not have been played and if it were imperative, he should have been played as an opener. This noble suggestion was coming at a time Saeed Anwer and Aamer Sohail were providing Pakistan with a good start in every single game. Javed Miandad, whose shelf life in one-day cricket had been over for over 3 years and was now only there to satisfy his lust for personal records, should not have been in the team. So very sad that nobody even talks about 'the only player who played in the first six World Cups'.
What you recommend is on similar lines: Younis Khan bats at the most critical position in the team (Number 3) and is by far the best batsman in the team and has been delivering in test matches for a while and you want to change his position.
