Why wasn't Azhar Ali given the ball today?

When the 4th wicket partnership was prospering and when 8th wicket partnership was going on , we could have used leg spin for a change but it surprises me why it was not used.

Question is why was Hafeez bowled after 70 overs despite their being a left hander out there all day.

I remember Azhar got rid of stubborn sangakkara when he has made 200+ , it was totally surprising for me when he did not get the bowl at all.

Instead of Hafeez or Azhar getting the ball. Captain Misbah gives the ball to innocuous Younis Khan

we all know the answer to that lol.

Misbah's generally a good captain, and hasn't been afraid to use hafeez before. Wonder why he didn't. Not like hafeez was tired, he didn't score anything substantial in the first innings.

Well either there was something very very fishy being done and SL were purposefully given opportunity to edge ahead

or

It requires some thinking outside the box, be brave and try something different, but I thought Misbah was the best thing to happen since sliced bread?

Yep doesn't make sense to me either

Hafeez was given the ball, and it didn't matter.

You can name your random player and ask why he wasn't given a ball, but SL didn't quite pile on 500 and, for most of their inning, were playing on par with our score.

A much better thread would have been:
