chronology of alledged offence.

From what i gather..the problem of alledged 'scuffing' was the time between Gul picking up Cook and the 15 mins( 3 overs) afterwards until offence accused by Hair took place.

There was no problem with Gul's wicket as balls are checked after each wicket by Umpires.

So, sky footage would be concentrating their investigation between those times.

Aggers goes:

However, the umpires are trained to detect the difference where possible, and Pakistan's claim that the ball had been damaged by being hit to the boundary - and for six - is not entirely credible.

The ball in question had not been hit for four during the previous three overs, and was never hit for six.
Boycott backs this view too.

Hence here where the problem lies.
