Future superstars who could shine at world cup 2006!

I think this could be the superstar of the next world cup his name is leo messi and he plays for argentina/barcelona.

Anybody know any future superstars who they think might shine at the world cup?

I was watching the earlier Brazil WC Qualifiers, Brazil looked like a much better side when he was on the field in each and every game. He was providing crucial tackles, and was always making room to run. He provides excellent crosses and through-balls and makes things happen for Brazil.

there are soo many - i particularly think likes of following can impress

sanli tuncay
ricardo quaresma - so talented , and better than c Ronaldo, perfect stage for him.
niko kranjcar - croatia's class act upfront, him and prso are a v good partnership
kim kallstrom - can he fulfill his potential? i think so
lionel messi/ f cavenaghi/ d alessandro - all talented young argies, any can really step up.

these are mainly players from the dark horses. u have the obvious stars such as ronnyd etc

I think Riquelme will finally make his mark on the world stage. He is currently one of the best playmakers in the world and he is the main man for the argentinian national side.

This man knows the score, Kaka rose above the 'star of the future' tag some time ago.

newcastle are looking at sanli tuncay - who shall we say was compared to a certain shevchenko for his style of play by the italian press and was linked with ac milan at one point. Niko kranjcar is going to be big and will be snapped up by a big club - barca were linked with him at one stage

yeah i heard about that link - Souness is gonna watch Switzerland v Turkey and they reckon its to watch Tuncay - maybe Nihat aswell since he is gonna be on a free i think!
we need a striker since King Al is retiring this season - wudnt mind Tuncay

nihat would be very shrewd!!! what a bargain and yes on a bosman at end of season! tuncay and owen? tuncay likes to drop off a main striker and with someone like owen who prefers to play as the predator further up the pitch it could work well with like of luque and solano on wings and then emre/parker in middle - has the makings of a V GOOD side! just get a partner for boumsong asap and top4 for newcastle easy

Newcastle United boss Graeme Souness is eyeing Valencia midfielder Ruben Baraja.
Souness has been active in the Spanish transfer market this season, having snapped up Alberto Luque from Deportivo La Coruna in August and making enquiries in recent weeks after Aldo Duscher.

Depor hard-man Duscher remains top of Souey's shopping list for the winter market, however if the Spanish club refuses to lower their £8 million asking price he will try for Baraja.

Valencia's free-scoring midfielder insists he's happy at the Mestalla and along with Toon, has also been linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid this year.

------------------------------

i gotta give credit where credit is due and souness is really looking at the right calibre of players to take newcastle to that next level

I would love Baraja at the Toon - he is a cracking player!
it seems like Souness is keen on playing a 4-3-3 cos we have been linked with 3 Defensive Mids lately (Duscher, Diop, Baraja)
I would actually have Diop out of the 3 BUT i wudnt complain if we went for Baraja

If that is the case then the team could look like this

-----Diop/Baraja-----
---Parker----Emre---

---Tuncay---Luque-
--------Owen-------

we gave Steven Taylor a contract last season

seriously on current form Steven Taylor is our best defender - Boumsong has been rubbish so far (he'll come good tho)!
BTW our defence gets a lot of stick BUT we have kept 6 clean sheets this season which is the total amount we kept ALL last season
