Well its the night of the 29th Roza here in Bahrain and chances are that Eid will not be declared tonight but just thought, I would wish all PPers a happy Eid Mubarak.

I suppose goes without saying that their is no real fun in this Eid, when we think of the millions left homeless by the quake but such is life.

Inshallah, we will all work together and our next Eid will happen in more upbeat and happier times, Ameen.

May ALLAH accept our fasts and prayers this Ramadhan, Ameen!

tomorrow is the 29th roza in Malaysia, so we find out tomorrow night when eid is.

Amazing isn't it, seems so recent that we had a thread on Ramadan Mubarak. Now its come, and its gone. That can be applied to life as well, it'll come, and it'll go.

Is tht the special language? I know abt it, many ppl in my extended family can speak it. Should be one of the official languages of the world.

Translated: "sab ko eid mubarak. khas tor par aurangzeb ko. pakoray bohot yaad aiyngay."

a very happy Eid to all.

Like many other Pakistanis, I doubt this Eid will be celebrated too lavishly. When 2.5 million Pakistani brothers and Pakistani sisters are homeless in the cold winter of NWFP and Azad Kashmir it would be entirely wrong to throw presents about and stuff yourself with the kebabs and sweet lassi. But whatever way you choose to celebrate I hope it is a happy occassion for you and your family.

I just dont understand why some mosques are constantly following Saudi moon?

In theory here in UK it should be on 'Firday' and not Thursday if MIG confirmed its (Thursday for him "yep confirmed in Bahrain ( and Saudi and the rest of the Gulf ) - Thursday it is !"

I'm doing it on Friday thats for sure and thats confirmed and thats from looking at local moon sighting.

Anyway, Happy Eid mubarak bros and sisters!
