Greatest reaguard test innings ever

1958

The start of the longest Test innings of all time, Hanif Mohammad’s 970-minute marathon for Pakistan at Bridgetown. Following on 473 runs in arrears, Hanif ground down West Indies' bowlers on his way to 337 made over three days as the match ended in a draw. Hanif disputes his record, maintaining that he actually batted for 999 minutes. His captain, Abdul Kardar, encouraged him by leaving notes saying "You are our only hope," and "Keeping fighting. Don't give up,” stuck to his bedroom mirror.

Is there something that an Indian hasnt done best Gary?
While India ended up winning that match, they werent 473 runs behind. Batting for 3 days is absurd. This is one thing missing from the batsmen of today - batting out long periods of time to draw it in hopeless situations

Daoud, u ignore where I said Abdul Qadir's 9/56 was the best display of spin bowling ever, where Mushys wrongun in the WC final was the best ball I ever seen, where I say that Alan Knott is the best keeper ever!

India were playing the greatest team ever at their peak. India were 1 down in series. India were following on. Laxman and Dravid bat for a day unbroken, only time this has ever happened, Laxman makes 281 and India win the test and the series.

I cant imagine anyone in Pakistan team batting for 1 straight day. They arent fit enough plus concentration levels are not good at all. Hameed can not bat longer than 20 overs. Malik is better than him when it comes to concentration.

How long did Inzi bat for his 329?
Taufeeq can.
Pakistani batsmen have to learn the value of staying at the crease and grinding it out when things are not going so well. Tendulkar and Dravid are the masters of it.
