Al ittihad offer huge £3.5m for a ten day loan of samuel etoo

Barcelona sports chief Txiki Begiristain has told Al Ittihad that £3.5 million won't be enough to sign Samuel Eto'o on-loan.
The Asian champs want Eto'o for next month's Club World Championship in Japan and are ready to offer £3.5 million for a ten day loan.

But Begiristain said: "Eto'o is going to play many games with Barça and his national team this season and we must take care of him. In any case, Eto'o's loan would cost much more than £3.5 million."

Eto'o also said yesterday: "It is not a subject I am in control of. It is up to the club."

that is an insane amount for just 10 days!

Thats a ridiculous amount!

you can tell Barca are willing to let him go - they are just trying to squeeze more out of them

spot on - it is a bit of a risk as if he gets injured then the CL will be a huge task. Im sure etoo wouldnt mind it either - am sure he would get more than the minimum wage for his efforts

he would be more than happy to go i imagine cos they would be him a healthy sum

Kaka was linked with them tho wasnt he recently???

I mean its no point getting Eto'o alone, the guy needs some service

really us bizarre - spending millions on a tournament that the other teams dont really care about that much - surely investing it in grass roots would be more benefitial
