Pakistan Prepare for U-19 world cup

On the recommendation of the Junior Selection Committee, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announces the names of the players selected to undergo a training camp at National Cricket Academy Lahore commencing from December 30, 2005 in preparation for the Under-19 World Cup 2006:

2. Mohammad Faheem - Karachi
3. Ali Asad - Karachi
4. Riaz Kail - Abbottabad
5. Nasir Jamshed - Lahore
6. Mohammad Ibrahim - Rawalpindi
7. Mohammad Laeeq - Faisalabad
8. Rameez Raja - Karachi
9. Imad Wasim - Islamabad
10. Usman Malik - Lahore
11. Jamshed Ahmed - Lahore
12. Anwar Ali - Karachi
13. Akhtar Ayub - Rawalpindi

Tournemant takes place in sri lanka in febuary. Pakistans recent under 19 form has been poor. They failed to beat any of their Asian counterparts in the Afro-asia cup.

most of these kids are 16, 17 and 18. Pakistan play slightly under aged players. Then again our players have the wrong ages

averages 50 with bat, 25 with bowl in 3 day and 41 with bat, 19 with bowl in one day. Thats top. Seems equally good with bat and bowl. Great for a 16 year old.
