Ok, the one on the right is my Dad, you wont get that because he wasnt an international (although he came to England with the Pakistani Eaglets), but the one on the left was a famous international who gets a lot of abuse on this forum....The ground is Karachi 1972.....not sure exactly which ground though....

it's very interesting talking to him about cricket etc. Both then and now. he came over to England in 1954 with the Pakistani Eaglets. He played with all the old kings of pakistani cricket, Fazal Mahmood etc. Khan Muhammad is a close friend of my dads etc (he lives in Ealing). Alimuddin is also a friend of my fathers and an extremely funnt character. "Do you know i was the opening batsmen of the Pakistan cricket team????" is a classic line of his! He also lives in West London, but all he does is eat chaat all day...

He has very interesting stories about cricket in the 50s and 60s. He always tells me how he had to walk 6 miles to the ground, play cricket all day in the heat and then walk home.

While we worry about fast bowlers workloads now, my dad doesnt accept any of it. He tells me that himself, Fazal Mahmood and khan muhammad used to bowl all day everyday on very hard pitches in very hard leather boots and they never complained etc. Obviously he isnt Shoaib Akhtar, but its an interesting point.

In regards to Wasim Bhai (Bari), there are lots of interesting stories about him, he is my mothers first cousins son, so we have some old funny pictures from the 60s and 70s. Will try and find them to post....

Can't be..... I just checked on Cricinfo and Ajmal Malik played FC cricket between 1948/49 - 1951/52 when Wasim Bari was born in 1948!!!
