is this the dome of the rock or al-aqsa?...i hear they're different masjids and zionists try to show the dome of the rock as al-aqsa so people will forget what the real al-aqsa looks like...then they can demolish it to build their temple...

Yes it was the first Qiblah for the muslim it is 3rd most holy site for muslims.
The Masjid in Bait ul Muqqadis is second house of Allah to be built on the earth after Holy Kaaba in Makkah.
This was the Masjid that our Beloved Messenger Muhammad(Sall Allah Alahi Wa Sallam) lead all the Ambiyaa(as) in salah in hes Miracalous night journey Al-Israa wa Miraaj.

But the dome of the rock is part of Al-Aqsa as haram shareef(noble sanctaury) so if you pray inside the dome or any other part of the sancatuary your prayer is same as if you have prayed in the purpose built Masjid.
like in Makka and Madinah shareef they are huge complex and includes large area and you get same reward as if you pray near the Kaaba or outside.
