Your favorite cricket ground

this can be based on anything, from being your favorite cuz its in your home town, to the amount of results it produces, to the pitches that it produces, and the outfield,
or the atmosphere, the crowds etc etc etc

since im in Aus, i havent been to any other grounds but the MCG, Telstradome, SCG and Adelaide...

Even though im from Melbourne, the MCG is too big for a cricket game, Adelaide Cricket Ground takes the cake, theres assistance for the bowlers, at the end of a test match the spinners have a part to play, and the ball comes onto the bat pretty well for a good high-scoring contest...

I would love to go to some of the grounds in:
India and Pak - merely for the atmosphere (and the occasional bottle throwing)
South African and Newzealand- the grounds there seem so GREEEN!...
England - Lords - for obvious reasons

but yeah, Adelaide Cricket Ground for me

Many grounds for me. My fav ground is ofcourse National Stadium in Karachi since it is my hometown. That and our 20 test wins there

Other mentionables are:
Cape Town(that mountain is just so beautiful)
Rangiri International Stadium in Dambulla, SRL - Picturesque Ground
St Lucia - Absolute beauty of a ground
Old Trafford - electric atmpshere last year in Ashes and when Pak plays

never been there but the MCG is the best!!!!the true modern colloseum
oh and when it comes to the pitch, perth. but sigh, good ol lahore,i just love the gaddaffi stadium......but no MCG is the best.

i think MCG is the best. as a fast bowler i like the Perth pitch. St. Vincent ground is wonderful with the sea behind the ground looks great.

Unpredictable Conditions, Great Atmosphere.

the millwoods district cricket ground...lush green outfields, a very fast and bouncy pitch... amazing sight lines...and a great atmosphere...alot of jamaicans live across the street and show up really quickly if you start playing there...they're really vocal too

Mcg, because of its size and passionate atmosphere.
