ODI Debut for Scotland!!!

This is what I just sawon Crapinfo. Here is one more example of the "expertise" of the Crapinfo's commentators!

"An entertaining one-day debut for Scotland and one in which they did themselves credit. At 20 for 4 this morning we all feared that the match might not last beyond halfway, but Watson and McCallum led a fightback which gave their bowlers runs to defend. Indeed, Pakistan themselves wobbled and at 93 for 5 the capacity crowd sensed something remarkable was on the cards. But Pakistan’s experience told, and Razzaq and Yousuf consolidated and then cut loose, ending the game in a flurry of spectacular hits."

......ODI debut for Scotland.....they are playing their SIXTH ODI !!!

The sad thing is these 'mistakes' are always happening. The only reason I stick with cricinfo is because they have live updates for almost every game of cricket played on this planet.

How dare they make such a mistake! They are a load of crap! On top of that they even provide ball by ball coverage of every single game and then they even dare to write a comprehensive report of the days play! What a bunch of ghastly, horrific people! On top of all this they even dare not to charge a single penny! Oh how terrible they are! Just one question to all those who love to make a big issue out of nothing, pakpassion aside, which cricket site do you visit the most?

Point well taken........ !!

1) Making big issue out of nothing...
Crapinfo makes HUGE money and they PAY their commentators. These are PAID professionals. This is not the first time, they have messed up. Opinons are one thing but before you post some "records" in your commentry, why not check them out. How hard it was to check Scotland's ODI record on Crapinfo before they made this comment? I guess, you and I use Crapinfo more than these guys do!

2) Opinions.
Not only these commentators make these "small" mistakes, everybody know that they are biased in their commentry - specially .........well, I don't want to start a separate debate...but you know what I am talking about.

Just the other day, during recent 3rd WI vs Ind test match these guys posted the story of love affair between Nazar Mohammad and Noor Jahan and how Nazar's career was over because of the affair. Not only they psoted the story that had NOTHING to do with the WI-IND test but the language used was pretty deragratory towards Nazar, Muddasar and Noor Jahan. After posting this, somebody came to their senses....and they removed it mintues later!

Cricinfo was great when it was maganed by some volunteers....but in last few years it has just gone down the hill. I just go their for live scores and some stats. The "opinonated" commentry has just turned me off!

I'd use cricbuzz all the time if it wasn't for their love towards India and cricinfo's comprehensive stats guru.

Inzy's decision to bowl first was completely correct, as was shown by there being a little bit in the pitch which made it difficult for the team batting 1st to set a competitive total. This situation takes the pressure off the chasing team, and a 5 wkt win came about that was quite comfortable in the end.

No doubt if Inzy bats first in the next tour game, people will still be saying he should have bowled first.

I think you are right. It was vital that we won the game. Winning is a habit. We have a couple games to sort out the batting. We need the bowlers in rhythm as well as batsmen and its not easy to just click into rhythm as a bowler. IMO he did the right thing because it allowed our batsmen to bat at the so-called easier phase of the game with the juice out of the wicket.

The toss wasnt even so important to Pak because the pitch had a bit in for both batsman and bowler. Warm up games arent important, it is nice to win but at the start of the tour you just want your XI to get used to the atmosphere and conditions. Pak both won and are more comfortable with the conditions due to the experience of 100 overs of cricket here, so anyone criticising Inzy should give it a rest.

it wasn so important then inzi should have practiced batting on british conditions, he should have batted first giving our batsmen a bit of a chance to enjoy themselves and prepare!
