I heave read from ex players and heard that Roberts himself threw his famous faster bouncer

since i have never seen him bowl does any one who saw him bowl agree that he chucked

I saw Andy Roberts bowl - if I am honest, I didnt know about 'chucking' in those days BUT it was never queried at the time - and there was a big witchunt aginst chuckers in the 60s and 70s.

Never thought he chucked it - seen footage since then, and it never looked dodgy to me.

I havent seen him either but his quicker bouncer is said to be very dodgy. I'll ask my dad if he saw anything

honestly these guys are soooooo jealous of shoaib of his speed they know he is the quickest bowler ever quicket than holding and andy roberts them guys were not even quick i hate old crickters hype everything up

I dont think roberts had a jerk on his bouncer. I do know from the 70s saleem altaf used to jerk his bouncers courtesy of my father who played with him. Majid did as well. I think charlie griffith was one. I really dont know of any others. I think bedi also was thought to chuck but it was british being british. Haseeb ahsan was destroyed by chucking.
