It's a good tool to stay in touch with friends and family in Pakistan, but I have seen it being used for more than that .

actually Orkut is the desi hangout as well. Too bad 80% of it is in Portugese thanks to the Brazilians. Other than that and the fact that it is a Google production, its pretty ok. Met a lot of my old mates and classfellows on it including those I had not seen since childhood.

I don't have any Brit Pakistanis on my Hi5. I like orkut better than hi5 though because I find the layouts much better though I do use hi5 often.

I can't get used to myspace! It's so not user friendly, it's so hard to edit your profile there and customize it. I barely use it. I also have Friendster but I don't use it as much either.
