Pak cricketers at my local mosque in Leicester

Im not sure if you guys heard about this..I didnt go sadly as i was on holiday...but apparently it was very good..Masjid Umar for anyone who knows leicester-abt 5 mins walk from where i live..and they came the friday of the weekend they played Leicestershire were there from Asr till maghrib time..even ate there

Mohd Yousuf gave a talk about how he accepted Islam and how Saeed Anwar ( who was also there) was a great influence on him in this. Shahid Afridi was there and spoke about how the the Pak cricketers is so much more religious now and how only now he is a regular in the team and praying more helps you in the hereafter and in this world also. Inzy was there too as was Saqlain - i think Saqlain gave a little talk also.

Mohd Yousuf said that he saw a dream wherein a collegue of his told him that he will become a muslim, and a few days later that exact thing happend- subhanalah...

i did think this was wicked and must be shared..my dad went and said it was very good..great to see the cricketers etc. Inzy was there in black kurta/pajama and afridi was funny apprently

Saqlain even came to a awards presentation at my brothers school sports day and he was in chappals and white jubba- my bro was very impressed with his simplicity hehe

i just wish i was there..its a big mosque and apparently it was PACKED..as it would be..pak cricket team has big support here
