Eng V Pak in Pak 2000. Nasser Hussains boys arrive in Pakistan and after 2 stalemate draws, the 3rd and final test at Karachi is heading for another draw when all of sudden Pakistan collapse leaving eng a modest victory target of 160 on the final day and eng hit the winning runs in the dark of Karachi winning the series in dramatic style and ending pakistans unbeaten home record at fortress Karachi.

Eng v Pak in Eng. 2006

Pakistan arrive in england undefeated in 5 series and having won the last 3 including a 2-0 win over ashes winning england, a 1-0 win over india and a 1-0 win over Sri Lanka. Both sides suffering with injuries to key players with Pakistan missing its big guns Shoaib, Asif,Rana and Malik. After survival at Lords, a double collapse at Old Trafford, Pak are 1-0 down with 1 to play and we all know what happened then. Eng win the series and Pakistans 24 year unbeaten record in england comes to an end after yet another collapse.

Probably the one in 2000, not that it makes this one any more bearable.

I think the one in 2000 was the best, mainly because it was unexpected, and Pakistan have always been a difficult team to beat at home, especially at Karachi where they had never lost. So to bowl them out on the last day out of nowhere, then be allowed to get the runs in the face of appalling over rates and gamesmanship, was great. In the end it was a bit of a farce because nodody could see the ball, but I think it was a deserved and memorable win.

This win was good because it proved we are still a good team, we are back in a winning mood, and also it has shut up the sponges that claim England only care about beating the Aussies. Also we hadn't beaten Pakistan at home for decades before yesterday, so it felt pretty good, and we have seen some good young players really show what they are capable of in this series. This bodes well for future test cricket.

The loss in 2000 was worse. I was watching the game at work with a whole load of England supporters which made it difficult to take. Anyone can lose away from home but to lose at home, in particular at Fortress Karachi was really upsetting.

Eng V Pak in Pak 2000

It was a series that we wern't expected to lose and losing at Karachi made it worse. I still remember The Pakistan team (Moin Khan in particular) looking very dejected afterwards.

The loss in Karachi purely because we lost our unbeaten record on that ground.
