Who would you pick for the upcoming ODI's against England?

Based on the results of the Test matches, and the squad we have available to us. We are spoilt for choices in the ODI format of the game. I would pick the following:

1) I. Farhat/S. Afridi (Rotation)
2) M. Hafeez /S. Afridi (Rotation)
3) Y. Khan (automatic selection)
4) M. Yousuf (automatic selection)
5) Inzi (automatic selection)
6) K. Akmal (automatic selection)
7) A. Razzaq (for his power-hitting and useful bowling)
8) S. Aktar (automatic selection if fully fit)
9) R. Naved (automatic selection, his ODI rep and performance is excellent)
10) U. Gul (has been excellent in the tests, pretty good line/length, should be useful in ODI's too)
11) M. Asif (automatic selection)

12) D. Kaneria

You may have noted that I missed out Shahid Nazir, perhaps he could be used in rotation too, when we have the ODI series wrapped up .
F. Iqbal and M. Sami in the reserves.

Have M Sami passing tips to England batmen. Or have him to supply drinks to the team and learn by others bowling.

Hafeez - Has improved and isa bowling option
Malik - Number three or opener. Whats the difference for him?
Younis - I think he needs time to settle in and play anchor
Moyo - Speaks for himself
Inzi - Nuff said
Akmal - I might just be tempted to switch him with Hafeez, however he is at six incase we collapse.
Razzaq - Blast player
Afridi - Afridi is Afridi
Naved - STill one of our best ODI bowlers
Akthar - nuff said
Asif - Quite a good container

12) Farhat

Pick anyone you like - you'll beat our shambles irrespective. We're a two-man team in ODIs, Pietersen and Collingwood.

it all depends on Maliks fitness. IF he is not there than Farhat should open but the rest of the squad should be pretty automatic.

shoaib malik/imran Farhat
Mohammad Hafeeez
YK
MOYO
INZi
Shahid Khan Afridi
Abdul Razzaq

Why would we play four specialists? Anyway here is my team, but see it all depends on if Malik plays, and he should be. So here is my proposal.

Farhat/Hafeez
Malik
Younis
Yousuf
Inzamam
Afridi
Razzaq
Akmal
Asif
Akhtar
Rana

i would chose this for eng-pak odis:

Malik/Hafeez
Farhat
Younis
Yousuf
Inzy
Afridi (deserves a place ore than iqbal)
razzaq (useful odi all-rounder)
akmal
shoaib/ sami/ nazir
rana/gul
asif

If pakistan is batting second then maybe afridi should open up and malik to 3 and younis to 6.

Pakistan's ODI line up

1.Imran Farhat.

2.Mohammad Hafeez.

3.Younis Khan.

4.Mohammad Yousaf.

5.Inzamam-Ul-Haq.

6.Shahid Afridi.

7.Abdul Razzaq.

8.Kamran Akmal.

9.Shoaib Akhtar.

10.Rana Naveed-Ul-Hassan.

11.Mohammad Asif.

And if Shoaib Malik is fit then one of the openers has to make way for him.

Younis Khan
Mohammad Yousuf
Inzaman Ul Haq
Kamran Akmal
Shahid Afridi
Abdul Razzaq
Shoaib Akhtar
Mohammad Sami
Mohammad Asif

That is a class team, if Pakistan play this team defente they will white-wash England!!!

4 pace bowlers-2 express pacers-2 line/length swing pacers
1 spin bowler-afridi-should be enough
2 solid opners
solid batting line up including recognized batsmen from farhat to razzaq and shoaib and sami can do something with the bat aswell!

Sami over rana in odis no way, rana has proved himself at odis and is a regular wicket taker of the top order unlike sami and his variations help him to take vital wickets at the death and with sami playing the pakistan economy rate increases rapidly!!

they should try afridi as an opener in this series
england fielding is too good and they plan well against him so he wont make any runs once powerplays are gone

No Yasir Hameed. Hafeez and Farhat have done well in this test, and with Malik to come we already have three openers in the squad. Hameed has to wait his turn
