What an exciting tournament!

Heartiest congratulations to India for preparing such wonderful and unique wickets (intentionally or unintentionally) that have produced such exiting cricket. No longer can they say that only the sub-cont. teams can play here. These wickets have brought out basic technical issues with the batsmen from the subcont resulting in the near ouster of them all.

I mean who gave NZ and WI a chance at the start and they are the ones who have made it first to the semis. The most favorite 4 (Ind, Pak, Aus and SA) are still struggling and 2 of them will not make it beyond the first round.

Congrats to Windies for such a dogged and determined performance and congrats to NZ for playing smart cricket and always giving 100 percent.

This tournament is the best ODI tournament I have seen in recent year. I wish they were all more like it in future as well.. And the best part is.....

Its not even finished yet!!!!!!!!!!

England's abysmal displays aside, I've enjoyed the tournament so far, I am a fan of the wickets too. I would ignore the whingers, remember that everyone wanted sporting wickets in one day cricket, well here they are, and the same ppl who moaned about 300-400 pitches are moaning now!

yeah.. but thats too bad.. who wants to see 450 runs chased down everyday. This is what cricket is all about.. When they used to say anything can happen in cricket, this is the sort of cricke tthey meant.. not the monotonous meaningless high scoring baseball style massacres.

Now I am a newborn fan of ODI cricket. Well done!

i dont mind the low scoring games but i wish the toss wasn't so important due to the dew factor ... they should start the games a bit early and that should double the fun
