Should Razzaq bat at # 3 in the next ODI?

do u guys think we should give Razzaq a chance to bat at #3 again in the next ODI(no matter if we bat first or second)!..the guy looked solid today and has looked good in the past too whenever he came at opening position or 3(i remember he played really well in 99 WC)

though i feel it will be highly unlikely as younis will be back in the side for the next game and he will most probably come at #3...!

Might be an idea to open with Razzaq and tell him to go after the bowling.

He didnt come in at number 3 today, he opened the batting with Butt!!

hmmm

If YK is fit then it could be better for him to come in at 6 since he is a better player of spin than Razzaq. In which case yes.......Razzaq at 3 and YK at 6. Tell Rizzy bhai to go after the bowling.

he seem to be finding the middle without a problem worth a try but he will get too tired bowling 10 overs in the heat and then bating

exactly.....especially since it is 110% that Ganguly will win the toss.

Inzi seems to have forgotten how to call.

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if we play him at 3 or even opener. He won't throw away his wicket like Akmal or Afridi and we all that he is good against fast bowlers. When he comes down the order, he struggles against spin and we are wasting him there, he SHOULD actually be played as an opener or one down but JUST for this series.

I have been harping about that for a while and finally someone seems to have paid attention. Razzaq is best suited for number 3 position and in fact I was batting order was quite correct ,,, thats why we scored 298. didnt we.

just luck didnt go our way.. i sya we stick with this batting order and maybe kick out Hafeez for another seam bowler.

Need's to come either opening batsmen or number 3, and should be given more chances to bowl with the new ball.

Inzi has to bat at no. 3
He can score as fast as Razaq at no.3 once he stays on the pitch.
I would keep Razaq for the late overs...especially he knows how to play in the last 10 overs....
yes he slogs but also plays sensibly when chasing..
doesn't throw his wicket away very often in the ODIs

A Razzaq does very well against pace. However, he still looks quite fragile when it comes to spin.
He shud be made an opener or shud come all the way in the end, so that he gets to face fast bowlers instead of spinners.

i think razzaq should open with butt- the guy is good at blocking the good deliveries and hitting the poor ones for 4. IMO he would make a great opener (plus he won't have to face spin then)
