i dont wanna unsettle the opening pair of Farhat & Hafeez..they have given us good starts on some occasions...give them more time to settle...or else we will never find a stable opening pair..they have been tried for 6 test matches together...give them atleast 4 more Test match to show their ability!

even today farhat proved that he is a failure.both faisal n farhat r useless players.
Due to the innings that kami played today n he has also opened for pakistan in the odi's i have decieded to with kami to open
Zoni should take over the keeping frm kami

=================================================

This team is based on present team(not including the injured players)

I wouldn't play to keepers and i'd have same befopre rana for test as he's bowled well in last match(please don't say he bowled rubbish based on cricinfo commentry or wicket column). Farhat as more than enough lifes to prove him slef at test level.

Kamran is way too short on confidence.though he wins us a match today.but v also have to think y saffies have been put so much score on the board.cuz kami gave them a lot of chances to survive.
so i will either drop him or will open the innings with him cuz kami batted better then hameed today.so i think he should be given a chance with the bat

Same team except Shoiab going out & Razzaq coming in....maybe Shabbir coming in place of Sami but he bowled well for a chnage this test match so deserves another chance.

I don't think Sami has done enough but Rana is definitely NOT a test bowler so i wouldn't play him at all.
Razzaq has never been a test player and he never will be, Shabbir after a long absence should NOT be played straight away.

Definetly agree with you. There is no way pakistan will play shabbir EVEN if he arrives on time. Nazir had only 1 bad game and deserve another go. We should play shabbir in onedays.

I don't buy in to the theory of playing Kami as a specialist batsman nor do i think that Zulqurnain will be able to do that well with out playing a tour match of any kind.

Why have you chosen the team like this:

rana/nazir

sami/nazir

It looks like you are desperate to play Nazir, which is a good things...

Since you put Nazir two times, it proves he is a precious player: Isn't it?

Who are the selectors, who are going to select the team for the Third Test Match...

ok mate to be honest i wouldnt want nazir or rana in the test team but i feel we dont have any choice as their is no shoiab. gul. in the team as they i think have been sent home.
at the mo we only have 2 bowlers who are capable of taking wickets and thats asif and kaneria.

my ideal team for last match would be

hameed
hafeez
younis
yousaf
inzimam
razzaq
akmal
rana
sami
kaneria
asif

It would be nice if they went with

hameed
hafeez (robot)
younis
yousaf
inzamam
razzaq (commando)
akmal (Kabaaz face player whos dropped too many on the field and too many in the toilet)
nazir (captain cook with that cap on his head)
sami
danish (pundit shiv puri)
asif

Farhat should be fired with immediiate effect i'm fed up of his silly shots esspecially wild ones outside off stump witch end up in the slips.

Seeing as how Gul, Akhtar, and Asif are out, we have to play with this:

Farhat
Hafeez
Younis
Yousuf
Inzamam
Kamal
Haider
Sami
Rana
Nazir
Kaneria

Really hope that Asif can play. If he can't I completely understand. He bowled quite a bit. And if we lose, its also OK. Though I think it might still be 55-45 seeing as how Pollock, Nel and Gibbs aren't playing. We can bash Morne Morkel

Perhaps Asim Kamal for Farhat. Its a tough choice. You want a settled opening pair, and they are being given a fair run. Hameed had a poor game too, so it is a tough choice.

What about Asif, there is another thread where he is supposedly reported to be inured. Some say its bull. Really don't know what to think. If it is true, we will have Sami, Nazir and Rana in

Farhat since recalled has been averaging 40+, yes hes flashy and dangerous but hes also scored runs!

I would keep Farhat. He has been scoring runs consistently since being recalled against India at Karachi. He has looked like getting out anytime, but at the end of the day, it's runs that count.

We dont have Saeed anwars or majid khans etc.. to open inns and Hafeez/farhat have done decently well as combo.

Only worry is both seem to get in alot and not go on. A ruthless streak is needed by both and they need to start making hundreds!
