My Trip to Doha, Qatar
I recently came back from Doha on a 3 day visit. I had to go there for an interview for admission into Cornell Medical College in Doha. I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw of Doha, its small, quiet, developing fast..has a perfect blend of modern and traditional architecture and is very beautiful. I absolutely loved it. Here are some pics I thought I'd share the PP'ers.

ooo, nice pics mate. I'm quite surprised that Doha come up that fast. I've been there once, a long long time ago (around 1985), was mostly desert then. Plus from the pictures you've taken there seems to be little/no traffic congestion on the roads unlike Dubai, which is nice.
Oh, and that that last pic has a G4 iMac in it, i.e Lampo, I love the way the monitor swivels wherever you want it to, and it's got such a small desk footprint. Do they have iMacs in the Cornell Medical College? |

^^^ Yup, they have these computer pods, small tables with two iMacs each..spread out all over the campus. Whenever you want to work, you can stop by on one, login and you can use it. Here are some pics of those:
