After a week of tragedy & tears - our boys ended their world cup campaign in much needed smiles.

lol when i watched that in the highlights i must admit it was the first thing related to pakistan cricket that made me laugh since the world cup started. even the umpire smiled at that one.

It's a bit of a feel-good story.

Yea really was nice to see the boys smile and Yousuf's bowling average in ODIs now being 1.00.

Rameez was right when he commented "he never saw Yousuf smile when he broke all those records and scored all those runs". I am sure this wicket would make Bob also smile.

I am glad the Pakistan team did not boycott this match( as was the sentiment on this forum). This way they go out on (a little bit of) a high, they earn some goodwill from the international community by staying professional in the time of great tragedy and Inzi got to say farewell in a more fitting manner than if he exited without playing against Zim. Well done boys, well played today.

I have followed this forum for the last year but never posted. Can someone please post a link for Inizi's and Yousuf's batting/bowling footage. Thanks in advance.

We thank the Lord for small mercies...it was a campaign which never got off to the start we would have wanted - what a bizarre end to our World Cup story.

Inshallah, if ALLAH wills it, we will be back again, cheering our guys on in the next edition...

What this world cup has taught me is.... at the end of the day... this is just a game... and we should all just try to enjoy it to the fullest... and today was the day I enjoyed the game... and so did all the players...

true............ we should try to enjoy it as a game!! but what can i say.... we are a very emotional nation and all sorts of emotions run very high in us!! not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing!!
