Can South Africa chase the score today?

Aus made 377/6 in 50 overs.

Brilliant knock by Hayden,Gili, Ricky, and Clarke.

Can SA chase this score and win this match?

I dont think so, Aussies bowling attack isn't as one dimensional as South Africas.

South Africa won't get within 50 runs of Australia's score. I'm pretty sure of that. To be honest, I think this will be a crushing victory.

Looks difficult today. You cannot expect to chase such a large score against AUS every single time.

I think first 20 overs will tell the story if we are in for good chase.
130-140 runs in first 20 overs at the loss of 1 or 2 wickets will mean a chase is on.

Very possible. I think we're about 30 runs short.

Agreed. This just gives liscense for South Africa to utilise their batting depth and attack for 50 overs. They'll get there with 2 overs to spare and wickets in hand.

The question should be how many wickets they will win by.
That and the classic question, "is saeed anwer's record under threat today?"
