Benazir might as well join the BNP

Look, I know there's a Benni and Mushy thread running but I just had to post this seperately because it was the most shameful piece of propaganda I've ever seen.

It was a programme by Benazir Bhutto transmitted on Channel Five (UK) this week called 'Big Ideas that Changed the World', focusing on Islam. In it, Benazir went back 1400 years etc... to the birth of Islam and talked about peace, war and terrorism.

The problem was she conflated Pakistan, 9-11, Islam and her feminine crusade into one unholy and disgusting diatribe worthy of the finest supermacists like the BNP. It really was extraordinary: Pakistan was the worst hellhole you'd ever seen, Pakistanis were 'allegedly responsible' for 9/11 and only she could restore the country's moral fibre.

I truthfully have never been so sick at watching a so-called documentary about Islam which gives the impression that the whole religion is a bomb-happy family of fanatics and butchers.

I know she was positioning in the West for her assault on the 2007 elections but this was the most disgusting piece of TV I've seen from a so-called enlighted Muslim.

It was so awful that I want to reiterate I have no political preferences in Pakistan whatsoever, so I'm no Benazir hater. I just had to post because it the programme was so iflammatory and just reinforces the kind of twisted prejudices people have about Islam and Pakistanis.

Plus her dad, Bhutto himself started the Peeri Fakeeri, worshipping the Mazar culture in Pakistan and destroyed Islam in the country.

I am not surprised by such a documantary by Benazir, that's how she is. No wonder she is been going to the USA every month for the past few months.

In Pakistan both religion and politics are nothing more than two versions of the same 'topi drama', i-e access to power by all means possible. Benazir is a tried and tested traitor, so is Mr Sharif. When will we come out of this dark age?

I've got to say that I hardly ever use the word 'evil' but this documentary was certainly that.
The kind of people that watch Channel Five are the ones according to a former station chief are ones that like 'football, films and f.....ing'. That's the kind of audience we're talking about. Yes, they're trying to go upmarket but this doc would reinforced their worst prejudices about Islam.

Who watches C5? Once these two are dead, the religious mafia would take over their mission of screwing up Pakistan. There is no end to this evil greed for power.
