20/20 - Faisalabad Vs Quetta

Quetta defending 96

Left Armer Stephen John has bowled a tremendous first over - very impressive and swinging the ball in the first over like its 80 overs old !!

Ok a little exaggeration! Anyone else watching this ?

Who was impressive in bowling (20-20) cup

this is the 1st time u can actually see a lot of upcomming bowlers in action some of the old bowlers can be seen in action too

1. Shabbir - was looking fit but his line length was not 2 great can surely say that he was out of match practice

2. Gul : its almost a year now .. good to see him back was bowling short dint see him swinging the new ball .. anyhow i think he needs a lot lot more practice..

3. Rauf : bold well ...... i have listened a lot about him happen to see him 2nd time ..was one of the 5 serious contenders in pace department before the indian tour (personally i dont see any future in him ) just a medium pacer ... ocassionally swings the ball .. according to waqar he was real fast 2 years ago .. has changed his action

4. Waseem Khan : A very successful domestic bowler .. but he is more a line length bowler .. was very accurare .. but still i dont see any future in him .. have seen him previously too but below international standards ..

5. Sajid ali : probabally the 2nd best left arm medium pacer after Najaf Shah .. he has a very correct left hand action (unlike like Khalil) his balls hits the bat hard ... bold pretty well ... usually neglected in the presence of najaf and khalil ..

6: Ali Imran Pasha : Has pretty good action ... he is young ... he has the ability to swing the ball .. can bowl a quick bouncer ... has seen him before but he goes for lots of runs can be a future candidate if he can tighten his line length

7: Shahid Nazir : Most impressive ... getting extra bounce ... swinging deliveries ... out swingers to RHB ... i think probabally the best bowler amongst new commers .. with shabbir and shoiab fit i think it will be difficult to accomadate him but he should remain in the 15 players

these are the bowlers which i noticed post the bowlers which u have noticed in this series so far

every bowler was average well apart from the bowlers that are part of our national team shoaib, gul and shabir

but i don't think there is any other bowler who can be in team

all are below averages and all have speed of indian bowlers but they for sure better then indian bowlers but not in standars of pakistan

yes real shocking ... one or 2 bowlers were nippy one was from faisalabad bold decently and was hitting the bat hard but pace wise no real pacer who is quick in air .... apart from bowlers there was a allrounder Waqas ahmed from Lahore he can really hit the ball like Afridi .. one falt six to naveed was real gem of a shot if he can improve his bowling i think he can be a contender for one day team anyhow he has to play lot of good inning to catch selecters eye anyhow his bowling is pretty useless

First of all, this thread is NOT about how good his inning was.

Second, I post my views as I did above. If you don't like them you can eat cake.

That was some innings. He has every shot in the book, only problem is he tries to play one of them every ball. Now only if he somehow manages to sort out his act, he could be something special.
