BackPack vs Satchel vs Briefcase/Attache Case vs Nothing

Most of us carry around a case of some kind. To hold the things we'll need whilst we're out at work or on our travels. Usually lunch boxes or laptops!!

What style do you prefer? A sturdy backpack? A light satchel? An attache case? Or do you manage to fit all you need into your pockets?

I used to use backpacks up until a few years ago but I switched to satchels because I found backpacks too unwieldy. You're always wondering whether to use one strap or both and they're a real pain in the back too!

I dont like attache cases because I hate carrying anything in my hands, so I've settled on Satchels.

Ideally I wouldnt carry anything and I shouldnt really because there's nothing in my bag that I have to take on a daily basis. Not with the advent of pen drives.

Yet I still feel more comfortable taking a bag of some sort with me to work, if only to carry the book I'm currently reading!

I know people who carry huge rucksacks to work, rucksacks that are full to bursting.

What on earth is in there??

I carry nothing to work. when travelling it is just a sport bag that I check in and not carry to plane as it is easier that way and the bag stays in hotel or car.

Backpack looks to kiddish, briefcase/attache are stylish way to get around, but for comfort, back packs the best.

When going to uni or traveling, then a backpack.
When I was going to work, then a laptop bag. That probably fits under a few categories
