He had a bit of luck and took advantage of it! Some of the strokes were from the top draw.

We need to kick him in the nuts more often and then tell him to get a "thigh strain" the match after so he can stand and deliver the sixes.

In all seriousness though it was a decent knock and under pressure too. Although he was lucky not to get caught in the slips before troubling the scorers and then again on 44 he just kept the momentum going which kept NZ away from the game all the time

He had no pressure. Hafeez was also playing really well.

Jeera Blade is the closest thing to Saeed Anwer we are going to get for a long long time so we should cherish him. A MUST IN 20-20 and 50-50!

the thing abt him today was that he didnt play any stupid wild swings....he did get dropped but those shots were not wild slogs like when he got out against India and Australia...

IT was his day,he got lucky and it paid off for him 2day,but i dont expect thhis to be a turning point in his career because he's deficient in maturity and a cricket brain

By having a batsman going for the strokes at the other end it made it much more easier for him. With Butt at the other end you felt he was under more pressue to play some rash strokes.

Lets hope they keep Butt on the bench for the last game.
