The Awards
Firstly, many thanks to all of you who suggested the implementation of Awards on PP. As a result of your recommendation, we have chosen 3 types of awards. Quote:

The closing date for sending in your nominations is JAN. 6th , the Awards will be announced by JAN. 11th and run for a period of 3 months.

3 categories :- Best Poster Award :A poster who generally posts well thought out posts and can argue his points in an effective way, without losing his cool !! Best Newcomer Award: A poster, who has joined in the last 3 months and has made an everlasting (good!) impression on you. Most Interesting Poster Award poster whose posts include interesting or relevant facts, thus enhancing your knowledge of cricket and provides for an interesting discussion. He can also be someone who brings a smile to your face!!! you can email your nominations to pakpassion@hotmail.com

To Saj and the mods:
Is it possible to have a section on pp with the list of previous winners similar to like say a hall of fame or something like that? Just so we can look at who won it previously and that there name will stay there.

Good idea Fessal. I think we would have done/thought of it anyway whenever the new winners were announced but you beat us to it.

Thanks entra but I have also saying for a long time that we should have a similar section outlining poll result threads. Whats the point on having pp polls when we can't look back on them. I don't think this idea has been seriously looked at even though I mentioned a few times.

The storing poll results is not the right one Fessal, for example the poll about the last india series is now irrelevant in every sense and no need for it to be saved for future. I mean we make a new poll, new situation, new possibilities, and so move on. Also polls are created every week, that may not look too hard to save now, but for volunteers like us with jobs and colleges to attend, it is. Unless an automated system can be engineered.

Daoud it's so easy yaar, look at the number of posts and if it's around 916, just vote for that person. For e.g just look at my total number of posts.
