Lets Get Behind Our Boys Thread

Chucker, fishermen, useless, not test quality, lazy, poor captain, flat track bully, whatever they are and whatever some so called Pak fans want to call them, they are giving 100% out there today.

Come on boys, lets win this test.

guys we haven't got the Wasim's, Waqar's, Saeed Anwar's of this world out there and have to make do with a team that lacks the quality of previous teams.

Inshallah!

Though I couldnt have asked for more.

Great start and a much needed platform to post a good target.

All depends on our experienced middle order.

Our fisherman has already caught 50 fish.

Lets hope he gets at least 100. Inzi alone will consume about 90 of those catches

I honestly dont feel the urge to support Inzimam's 11, I have been a supporter of Pakistan cricket team not Inzi's 11 he is intent on making a mockery out of team by playing his favourites in the side. Shoaib Malik wether its bowling or batting is not a test class player by any standard and for some odd reason Inzi prefers him over a young rookie like Bazid who needed support from captain at the start of his career. Then Hameed who with repeated failiures still gets a nod over Butt and Bazid. Comming down to the fast bowling I am not going to say anything about that as I have voiced my concerns on that front on number of occassions.

which strike bowler are you talking about PP?

Shoaib who is not injured but cast aside by Inzi because Inzi didnt like him.

Sami well he is not exactly a strike bowler is he, he averages around 50 with the ball if that is a strike bowler then I shudder to think what will be the average of a non strike bowler.

Rana well he aint really test class, he relies more on frustrating the batsmen with his line and length which doesnt really work in the test matches.

shoaib must have been unfit otherwise inzi surly wuld have taken him . We know that shoaib need to work on his fitness levels. Sami to me proved in india he has the fire power to trouble the best and his averrage his really high but still i see him as the future spearhead he will come good and gul is missed for sure

well it doesnt matter to me whether its Inzi's eleven, Youhana's eleven or Younis Khan's eleven I support them fully.

Player power and politics is nothing new and will always be there. Every captain, irrespective of which country he is from will have his "favourites".

It's hard to get behind our boys when there only a few players who are playing well consistentlyl, without the likes of Inzamam, Youhana, Younis and Shoaib pakistan is not a test playing nation.

Think it's time some of our young guns put there hands up an start getting some runs an wickets.

Offcourse we should get behind the boys, but when they make the SAME elementary mistakes time and time again then its always hard to stay patient. Criticism is fair where its due as long as its not for the sake of it.

No need by some here to have a go at the 'so called Pak fans' as they themselves were saying all sorts after the first innings in Barbados... things like pathetic, useless etc were the words echoed by a few posters who have posted on this thread. Couldn't we have got behind them then as well as they are always trying but sometimes just arent good enough, have a bad day or simply are outplayed. What do u think?

Anyway we should all stay positive and keep faith in the boys. Inshallah we will win.

Good treadh !

Common Boys make us proud

btw

If all the players work together we can always have a good result. If all the player are chipping something in there is no problem for Pakistan in the consisty. We have showned in the past ''if we work together all the players give something the result is simple: good performance that leads to wins''

Having favourites is ok with me but as long as you still select the team on merit, we all know that Imran Khan had favourites and at the same time he was not fond of the likes of Miandad and Waqar Younis but never did he let his personal likes and dislikes get in the way of team selection. Anyways I sincerely hope this series is an eye opener for Inzi and he will start to think that he is fighting a battle for his country out there not his personal battle.

well team selected on merit or not, chuckers, pop gunners, flat truck bullies, bits and pieces players - call them what you want, but they did very well in this test.

Well done Pakistan. You have done what a lot of better teams on paper could not achieve.
