Secret area discovered in karachi, throught google earth

NOTE: These pictures are 4 years old

While Browsing through the streets of Karachi trying to identify places from a 180 degree angle, I stumbled upon something amazing! Its an Airforce base near the Airport! There are 34 Fighter jets standing on the Tarmac and 5 Cargo / Transportation Planes. I took snapshots and am posting them here for your viewing pleasure

This is the image of the unknown airstrip

A close up of the Cargo / Transportation Aircrafts

A close up of a Cargo / Transportation Plane

Another Cargo / Transportation Plane standing by what seems to be a hangar.

Close up of a chopper. Cant makeout what type it is, but it looks like an attack helicopter (Judging by the slenderness of the body and and the formation of the Blades)

Heres the real deal! 7 Fighter Aircrafts. They seem to be F-16 or F-15 or someother version

Heres a whole squadron of what seems to be older aircrafts. 27 of them!

Somemore

And Somemore

i have shown some ppl from karachi these pictures and they were amazed and had never seen or heard of this place before.

It looks like pakistan were getting C-130's, X-35? A stealth aircraft and probably mirages or F-7's from USA in a secret deal.

Or is it a base exclusively used by those pesky Mercans?

The 'American Base' theory is a strong possibility.

The large aircraft are Fokker jets used by the Pakistan navy and the fighter jets are Q-5 Fantan bombers.

Fokker Jet.

And the large jet with 4 engines is a P-3C Orion. Also used by the navy.

They had 2 bases in Balochistan. Pasni and Omara I believe to re-fuel their planes after sorties.

Anyway, those will be gone after the completion of Gwadar seaport since China does not want US presence anywhere near them.

They are funding most of the Gwadar project after-all.

Actually I frequent a hip hop forum, and on there some guy was complaining about dieing in the heat in Pakistan while serving for the US airforce.

So I enquired about it, and he told me that he was stationed at PAF Shahbaz in Jacobad. This was 2 -3 years ago.
