New PPL domestic players sign up thread

So here we are, a new PPL season is upon us with 2 new teams this time. We would like to welcome Bolan Bravehearts (managed by Afridi_Fan) and London Lions (managed by hasanb) to the PPL family.

Obviously these are new teams so they need some domestic players, so if you’re interested in being part of something which is very unique in cricketing forums, then please put your name in this thread and state which team you would like to be part of.

If you are a specialist bowler: 30 bowling, 15 batting
if you are a specialist batsman: 99 bowling, 35 batting
Batting All rounder: 30 batting, 40 bowling
Bowling All rounder: 25 batting, 35 bowling

On behalf of the London Lions, I would like to invite PP members to our new team. We are only the second foreign team in the league and we have some very lofty ambitions for our first season! So if you want to be part of something dynamic, unique and different to PPL then we are the team to join.

When does the season start?

At the moment it is pencilled in for the Xmas holidays, tentatively around the 18th of 19th of december, although this could change a bit.

Xohaib, you can just say which team you would like to join and what type of player you want to be, we'll sort your default averages out no worries.

You chose the future of PPL. I applaud you for that.

Although The London Lions are a foreign team, they will have a distinct Pakistani flavour and flair...indicative also of the large Pakistani community in the UK. We too will be playing an attacking and aggressive form of cricket...however there will also be method to the madness. In other words we are talking about carefully planned out destruction of the rival teams.

All team members will also be heavily involved with planning and team decisions.

And I am already watching some Cheap Tactics used by the Pardesis, involving other games inside cricket. Why would one want to play for a team who is trying to lure the players by mentioning other games.

Thats how weak they are, they do not trust their brand of cricket so they are mentioning the other games in here.

Feel free to make your decisions fols, just don't get attracted by those teams who don't know how to play the game in the right spirit.

So far just 2 Bravehearts, and both are good enough to beat any side.

We are already seeing a certain team squirming in the face of some early mind games. So my question would be why sign up for a team that might turn out to be mentally weak.

We will use every strategy in the book to come out on top and we openly admit that. Its your choice folks...if its a team with a strong winning mentality and attitude youre looking for, look no further than the London Lions.

It is very interesting to see how the Bolan manager refers to us as 'pardesis' as if we are somewhat on a lower rung. Come on people sign up for us so that we can rub their noses in it and show them we are as Pakistani as anybody else!

Our brand ambassedor has been just chosen folks, so he might tell you the whole mentality of our team. Just look at him and you will know what this team is about.

Players joining on the basis of pure sympathy, a thing that very team will deserve in the future.

The list is growing and I can certainly see why other teams are not getting any players. The one they got was before I introduced the Bravehearts. Thats all they are going to get, is the feeling among the crowd.

We are dedicating our management style to the late Bob Woolmer, who also was an Englishman and helped Pakistan cricket more than any coach before in my opinion.

As I said that we are the team of the future, so if we fall down on the 1st hurdle we won't be flat on the ground. We will get up and start running again.

People won't see us on the ground, they will see us as the 1st one on the finishing line.

I also know many players already playing for other teams who will like to join Bravehearts, but those rules are in their way. I really feel for them.
