The Top Order Combo

Openers have been debated to death.Having Ahmed Shehzad and Fawad or even Butt-Fawad combination could however, with a decent run could prove to be our long term openers, however the younger Shehzad deserves a place, when is iqbal Qasim waking up ? farhat and Manzoor are pathetic options and provide zilch, manzoor has been found out and his technique is appalling,Ahmed Shehzad is the most technically sound out of all of them and Fawad's grit and determination is second to none, bring them in to face the new cherry !

Number 3 is another issue, perhaps Fawad bhai could be at no.3 if opening doesnt work out and YK at 4

why not have shehzad and umar akmal open. fawad is a clearly a middle order bat while akmal seems to play fast bowlers well and is good square of the wicket like most good openers.

Ahmed Shahzad is dud, I dont know why so many ppl overrate him on this forum and hes got no attacking shots at all(no ability), he just blocks.

Why not Ahmed Shezad and Umer Amin, both star of u-19 World Cup. Right left and combination. We have tried everyone and pretty much all have failed. If it was up to me, I would give these two a fair(2-3 series) chance to prove them self and am pretty sure they will come through.

Umer Akmal is doing so well in middle order why would you remove him to open? Fawad Alam is clearly not a opener, so leave these two in the middle order.

Ahmed Shehzad is a suspect fielder. I would rather go someone who I know isn't going to drop catches.

I tell you this guy looks like he will drop a handful in the outfield. Doesn't come off as a natural athelete to me.
