Up Coming Batting Talents for ODIs?

Well, I don't know if others have noticed it or not, but I am little bit worried from the up-coming Batting Talents for ODIs. This problem is not so much to be felt in Tests or 20/20s, but in ODIs it is felt badly.

Let us see what we have in form of up coming Batting Talent in ODIs.

* Our Openers are almost all tested failures (we are talking only about ODIs)
name it: Salman Butt, Khalid Latif, Yasir Hameed, Imran Farhat, Khurram Manzoor, Nasir Jamshed, Imran Nazir, .....

I feel we need to give more chances to these 3 players:

1. Ahmad Shehzad
2. Khalid Latif
3. Nasir Jamshed.

* Then in middle Order, again I don't see any real Gem as up coming Talent.
name it: Umar Amin (may be a good Test player, but not too aggressive for ODIs)
Azhar is also slow
Ghumman is also slow

You could take any Name, but you would not be able to see any one near from being Full ODI package in him.

Full Package includes:

- Aggressive Batting (Umar Akmal, who dominates the Bowler)
- Good Singles making techniques (like Fawad)
- Good Hard Hitting ability ....... (like Umar Akmal)

- Good Fielding (like Umar Akmal or Fawad)
- Good bowling ability as "Batting All Rounder (May be Ahmad Shehzad could prove to be good Batting All rounder as his bowling impressed me)

So, no one is going to be Full Package, but even if one is 80% of Full Package, he is acceptable.

People here talk about many up coming batting Talents. Herewith I invite you to discuss their Batting keeping the above ODI conditions in mind and tell us who could be this up coming Batting Talent?

There was one Batsman Adnan Raza whom I liked a lot. But didn't hear about him since long.

Khalid Latif can't be called a 'tested failure' so soon, can he? :/

I stopped taking this seriously when I saw bowling is a requirement of a middle-order batsman and Latif is an opener who is a "tested failure" and a "player we should continue with"

Dear, I have kept this bowling criteria at the End as lowest scoring point. We could totally exclude it too, but remaining questions are still there to be answered.
(by the way, we do need a "Batting All Rounder" as 5th or at least 6th Bowling Option. At moment Pakistani Batting line is fragile while we are using 2 Bowling All Rounders (i.e. AFridi & RANA) for the Job, while real balance team need one Bowling All Rounder and one Batting All Rounder)

At moment the best Batting All Rounder we have is Malik. Good, we could live with it, but personally I would like to see Ahmad Shahezad as the 6th Bowling Option while he really impressed me with his bowling (better than his batting).

Dude, Salman Butt has 8 Centuries in about 60 matches, who other Pakistani batsmen have done that? It's not his fault, Yousuf/Younis keep running him out..

Pakistan ODI team has become better after the return of RANA/Razzaq. But still I don't see any "Up Coming" batting Talent for the ODIs.

I think after WC 2011, there would be at least 2 players who are going to retire from Middle Order (i.e. Yousuf & Younus). We not only need replacements for these 2, but also 2 more as Reserves)

I'll be speaking to Adnan Raza soon.

The Talent Spotter is a good place to look for some of the upcoming talent.

Friends, you are not understanding what I want to convey ..... it is a simple message that our up coming Batting Talent is good for "Tests", but none of them is any where near to be Complete Package for ODIs as Umar Akmal is (or even Fawad Alam due to his running between wickets and fielding and not getting out so quickly)

I only asked to name such up coming Batting Talents in the Domestic, who are good Batsmen, as well as could be considered as "ODIs Specialists" due to any of abilities like:

Basic Qualities:
1. Hard Hitting
2. Good Single Takers

Extra Qualities

3. Good Fielding (as it is very necessary in Today's Game .... being Good fielder is not enough, one should be Excellent Fielder of at least level of Umar Akmal)

4. Bowling (as 5th-6th Bowling Option).

I really don't see any other up coming Batting Talent who could be considered as "ODI Specialist". (like we knew about Umar Akmal and Fawad that both of them could be ODIs Specialists)
