What I'd like to see in today's play....

Of course I'd like us to take the last 2 wickets as soon as possible.

I'd like to see Farhat and Manzoor notch up a 50 run opening partnership.

I'd like to see Yousuf take the bull by the horns and bat at number 3 and lead the team to victory.

If Yousuf does not show up tomorrow at 3 then unfortunately PCB has lost millions on him. They should have let him rotten in ICL contract. Yousuf has hidden behind all this while behind youngsters. I want him to score tomorrow but from the number 3 position. Only batsman who could score tomorrow is Yousuf. Malik has never done anything in his test cricketing life so why should he surprise anyone tomorrow? just like Farhat and Manzoor would not do anything tomorrow.

Why do Pakistan only play well when their backs are to the wall? Anyway, they are now in control of this game which makes me anxious because they are not great when they are ahead. For that reason I predict Martin to score a hundred.

By the way I dont think they are now in control. anything over 200 on this wicket is going to be difficult for them. I hope they dismiss last two wickets cheap, Martin can go not out and hopefully Pakistan dont have more than 260 to chase.. Only then we have a match on our hands. anything 275 or over, I have a bad feeling ...

THIS is a situation tailor made for a great batsman to come in and prove, why they call him great.

best of luck to yousuf, regardless of the result today, i want Yousuf to play a marathon innings. He should, he is our best player of this decade for some isnt he?

Honestly, I don't feel too good about today. The pitch is starting to act funny, and I feel like Bond is going to rip through us. I really hope I'm wrong.

If we do win, I have a feeling it'll be because of Fawad.

One way or the other, this has been an amazing test match. This is why purists will always love this form of the game more than the others. More tension, more drama, more skill. End of.

Like the 48 run opening stand in final odi vs new zealnad when we needed just over 200?

Recent form suggests we do poorly when in a good position and when we are expected to do well

Im not counting my chickens till we do the whole job

I want pakistan to quicklyget the two wickets and cruise through and chase the target without any problems whatsoever...

But i expect nothing but the worse... their will be some sort of collapse... but im hoping fawad, umar and yousef and aamir pull us through it, dont expect much from the rest...

48 is not a good opening stand. I was looking towards centuries by our openers

when it comes to pak openers 48 runs is an excellent stand

i hope that first and foremost that Pakistan win, but wouldn't mind see farhat commit another few blunders as to prevent any remote chance that he might play in the next test.

insaaniyat , our gut feeling's were right yesterday

the best thing openers could do is especially farhat just go for it. If he stay there he is gonna block block and then get out he don't have temprament.

Good opening stand is the key as well as to keep wicket in hands until the tea. If we have wickets in hand at tea then will gor for the win.

Overall, I like to see winning mentality from the team i.e. be agressive and get two wickets quickly and then go for the win. Going for the win doesn;t mean playing reckless shots, it means showing positive intent and a plan while batting.

If we loose by playing positive circket then I will be happy with the effort. But if we get in to defensive and try to draw the game then will end up losing it.

As for batsmen, I doesn;t matter to me who scores or not as long as the TEAM wins...

Match evenly poised, lets say New Zealand get another 20 runs and take 40 mins over it. This leaves Pak a target of around 260 odd and 2 1/2 sessions to get it in. Everything has go right for them to chase it in the available time.

Lets hope for a solid start, i.e. 100-2 and if we get to around 150-3, the Akmal Brothers should see us home.
