Girls school blown up in Nowshera

PESHAWAR: Two bombs went off in a government-run primary school for girls in the Barakhel area of Mera Risalpur, District Nowshera, in the early hours of Tuesday, a police official said.

An official of the Risalpur police station stated that three classrooms and the main gate, along with the boundary wall of the school, were completely destroyed as a result of the explosion.

Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Ishaq, said, “Unidentified persons barged into the school and planted two bombs, each weighing three kilograms, on the outer walls of the classrooms and fled. The explosions occurred when the watchman left his post and went to offer his morning prayers.”

He added that an FIR has not been registered so far.

The Executive District Officer Nowshera, Hasanat Gul said “The number of schools destroyed by anti-literacy militants in the district have reached 16, of which seven were schools for girls and nine were for boys. These people [extremists] are not destroying the schools they are destroying the future of this nation,” he stated.

Hasanat Gul added that it is indeed the duty of the watchman to guard the school, but it is not possible for one man alone to stop extremists from the destruction of educational institutes.

So 16 schools destroyed so far, 9 for boys and 7 for girls. So they will keep bombing them unless as they say schools are not converted into sucide attackers factory.

But how do they justify it Islamically? They twist Quran and Hadith to suit their violent ways in other instances but how do they justify this?

There is no logic to kill innocent children. It is not a crime to read and write. However in the eyes of the militants, if they are educated they are less likely to join one of their organisations. (However I don't deny there are paarey-likhaay jahils out there too).

Anyone still think Army action against these militants should ended ? Wipe every last scumbag out.

However some establishment forces/politicians are in alliance/have been in alliance with some of these organisations. Politicians have been using the name of Islam to garner votes. The establishment thought they can use these groups to do their dirty work for them.

This is nothing to do with religious extremism or any religious ideology. The TTP terrorists are simply there to kill people and harm the nation in any way they can. They have attacked more boys schools than girls so this isn't about some anti-female ideology.

This is once again covert warfare waged by foreign intelligence agencies backing terrorists against Pakistan. It weakens Pakistan and at the same time gives reasons for the puppet government to justify their alliance in the war of terror. Terrorists don't grow weapons on trees they get them from sources. Any terrorist organistion who can get weapons regularly while gaining more recruits is supported by an outside force. TTP came after the war of terror started and will only go away after it has ended.

It makes you scratch your head why most Pakistani's don't understand what the real issue is here. The enemies even give you a doctrine known as AfPak which they now believe should be PakAf. If Pakistan didn't have a big army with nuclear weapons it too would have been occupied after 911. Since occupation was not an option, the next best thing covert warfare was put into place. The only way to fight this menace is by cutting the head off. Pak army has killed thousands of them but they keep coming back and will continue as long as the head that feeds the body is still nearby. Pakistan must remove it's alliance with occupiers and then help them to leave quickly to re-gain control of it's lands against such evil attacks.

Exactly , massive brainwashing is what does it . I know a couple of kids who go to a private school in Karachi and that private school even has a retarded Islamiat teacher who apparently told the kids that Mountain Dew is basically donkey urine and Muslims should not drink it . It is a conspiracy by the West . Lets not forget that some years back a Coca Cola email was also forwarded , if you flipped and tilted the label or something , it would read something blasphemous in Arabic , another conspiracy apparently .

I wouldn't be surprised which party is responsible in all honesty. If schools are being built by NATO to justify occupation then they might not be viewed by Taliban locals that different to the way Germans or Marxists were viewed by Europe.

As a Brit I doubt we'd accept a foreign power to bomb our cities then build schools teaching their philosophy no matter how worthy it was. Establishing an ideology by the sword doesn't work in my opinion.
