Naman Ojha - Sensible batsman with good technique

Always looked decent to me, doesn't have a great FC record but i just think he's the type of guy who would do well in International Cricket and is not one of those flat track bullies.

Doing well in IPL consistently for Delhi. Very impressed with him, looks technically sound. I would give him a chance in Indian team.

While Dhoni is around....it is highly unlikely another keeper will get a chance. Best chance for him is to concentrate on batting and get selected for Team India.

No seriously. Its all relative. I have seen Ojha play and i have seen other guys playing as well. Quite impressed with his batting. One of those guys you can work with and then they just raise their game to a whole new level. On the other side there are players who score big in domestic circuit but don't have the game to excel at the highest level. Ojha seems to have a good technique. Rotates strike, hits well and is a very handy keeper. Among all the keeper batsmen we have i'd rate him higher than most.


If anyone saw Dhoni in domestic circuit he wouldn't have predicted him being a gun international player either. Talent is not all stats. I see huge potential in this guy.


I see the basics well covered up. He just looks nervous often, i think a little push will show good results.
