Asad Shafiq or Umar Akmal or Azhar Ali?

Shafiq and Azhar appear to be in much better touch moving towards the Champions Trophy.

Umar may even miss out on making the final squad!

Azhar Ali for Tests.
Umar for LOIs.

Across all formats even though Azhar and Asad haven't been Tested much in the LO Format I'd say Umar.

It shows i have already voted on this poll but i can't remember who i voted for.

On topic umar is more talented than the other 2. I did rate shafiq's ton in SA better than umar's in NZ but umar is definitely more talented..
But talent is nothing without performance.

wonder how this 'slogger' UA has an average of 37.75 in ODIs while 'proper' batsman 'asad' averages only 29. Asad is a must in tests but he is no replacement for UA in ODI/T20.

TBH all three are have their weaknesses in a format. umer in test,azhar in T20 and asad in T20 also.

Umer in ODI/T20

Azhar in test/ODI

asad in all three.

asad is less weaker in T20 then azhar and the same for in ODI. If i was to must have a player in all three formats then i will chose asad. closely and very closely followed by umer.
Only bcz of asads test ability and umers brain farts. still very very tough call too make. very tough call.
