An annual domestic super series!

I think we should have an annual domestic super series where we have 3 test matches and an ODI tri-series!

The test teams would be made up of domestic regions with each team representing two regions from the four. This way we can create balanced teams without making a mockery of the regional make-up of a team by including players from other regions into weaker ones to build up the strength of a team!

The two teams will play a 3 match test series against each other with the selectors as well as the coach and captain having to attend every match as part of their contracts. The players should be chosen from the best domestic performers as well as the best from the international youth teams too!

Each match should be played on different types of pitch with international curators flown in especially if need be!

The ODI series should be made up of 3 teams. Pakistan Greens and Pakistan Whites will be selected the same way as the two test teams above and the third team will be Pakistan Juniors (which will be the best talent from the A team, u-23 and u-19 teams!

Once again the selectors, captain and coach must be required to attend!

The whole super series must be treated as and advertised in the same way as though it was an International tour! It must be pushed as a best of the best competition with all the matches televised.

The winning teams will either get to play the full pakistan team in televised one-off test and ODi matches or be sent to an international countries domestic circuit to compete there for a full season!

If the PCB could manage to interest Australia then that would be awesome but its unlikely!

Anyway this would be a better way of having a good look at promising players than putting them straight into the full team and not giving them an extended run then watching them crash and burn!!

I know i would love to watch a series like this would anyone else?

I dont think players should be picked on domestic performances. How many regions are there btw? And what are they? India have 5 teams, Aus have 6, SA have 6. i think less is more.

don't know about a super series but they should definitely have one 3 day game between Pakistan and Rest of Pakistan every year. Throw in a one day as well.

Interesting concept which should generate interest if done properly. I'd like to see the domestic teams reduced to cities and not depts. Less teams more quality Australian style.
