Why is Afridi putting up with Kamran Akmal?

At the very least he could request a back up keeper using the excuse that Akmal has played a lot of cricket recently or something to that effect. I would actually feel neausea seeing him in Pak colors again so soon.

Maybe we don't have a bloody wicket keeper/batsment good enough to cover in limited overs cricket! Say what you want about Akmal (IMO he should be nowhere near the test team) there is no doubt he is a vital cog in our limited overs cricket team.

Upstaged by two youngsters??? Other than Zoni showing fight and resilliance in his batting both him and Sarfraz's glovework was nothing to write home about. But i do concede that they are better test keepers and should be ahead of him BUT you **** read the post!!!

Kamran is a must for limited overs cricket! you a need a wicketkeeper/batsmen in ODI/T2O's. He may not perform in tests with the bat but Kamran almost always gets valubale starts for us in ODI/T20's. I wouldn't want Zoni or Sarfraz waiting down order wasting a space because they're not going to bat or not be effective and just play for their glove work. We've already got passengers in the ODI/T20 team with Fawad Alam.

When it comes to limited overs cricket, Akmal is more than handful since he can open the innings plus bat lower down if required and has a decent track record.

Unless proved guilty, no need for a keeper change IMO.

I have no problems with Kami in ODI's and especially T20s if he's not a match fixer/spot fixer. For Tests, Zoni should be our primary wicketkeeper with Sarfraz Ahmad as backup.

Like I said are you a scout who is guaranteeing that Ghadmal is the best player we have EVEN FOR LIMITED OVERS? Nobody knows what other players we have so you can't just grasp on to such a statement without knowing who else can play. Shudder the thought that we could give someone else a chance and who might perform even better(!)
